Terms of use
What the register is, and what you agree to when you use it.
These terms cover access to the register, the rules for posting a review, and the limits of what an audit finding means. They are written to be read rather than clicked past.

01What this registry is
RegiVerify publishes audit findings on heavy-equipment operators, and hosts member reviews of those operators. Access to the register is provided as information to assist your own due diligence.
Nothing on this site is a recommendation to transact, a warranty on any machine or operator, or professional advice. A verified status records that evidence was assessed and cleared at a point in time; it does not predict how an operator will behave in your dealing with them.
02Accounts
You need an account to post a review. You must give accurate registration details, keep your credentials secure, and not share the account with anyone else.
You may not hold multiple accounts to post about the same operator, and you may not post on behalf of an operator or its competitor without disclosing that interest. Either is grounds for removal of the content and closure of the account.
03What you may post
Post first-hand accounts of dealing with an operator. Say what happened, when, and what it cost you.
Do not post anything you know to be false, anything defamatory, another person’s personal data, confidential documents you are not free to share, or content that infringes a third party’s rights. Do not post the same review repeatedly, and do not use the register to threaten or harass an operator or its staff.
You keep ownership of what you write. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to publish, moderate, excerpt and archive it as part of the register, including after your account closes - a review that could be deleted on demand would make the register trivially easy to launder.
04Moderation and removal
Reviews are held for moderation before publication, and we may decline or remove a submission that breaches the rules above. We do not remove reviews for being unfavourable, and we do not remove a published audit finding or a revocation at an operator’s request.
We may suspend or close an account that repeatedly breaches these terms. Where we remove content, the operator or member affected can ask for the reason.
05Audit findings and corrections
Findings are assessments of the evidence available to the assessor at the audit date. Where a finding is shown to be wrong, we publish the correction on the file alongside the original record rather than silently amending it.
The appeal route, and its limits, are set out in the FAQ. Verification lapses at the end of its cycle whether or not anyone acts.
06Availability and liability
The register is provided as-is. We do not warrant that it is complete, that every listing is current, or that the service will be uninterrupted. Coverage is limited to the operators actually audited, and the register makes no claim about any operator not listed.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your reliance on a listing, from a transaction with a listed operator, or from content posted by another member. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
07Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will note it on this page with the date it took effect rather than replacing the text without trace.
