Three checks are tightened: independent hour corroboration, beneficial-ownership refresh at 24 months, and mandatory disclosure of leased versus owned premises.

Revision 4.0 of the RegiVerify Verification Standard applies to every audit opened on or after 1 January 2027. Existing verifications remain valid to their stated next-audit date and will be assessed against 4.0 at renewal.

Check 05, serial and hour integrity, now requires a corroborating source outside the machine for any unit declared above 4,000 hours. Check 03, beneficial ownership, moves from a five-year to a 24-month refresh. Check 04, premises, now requires explicit disclosure of whether each yard is owned, leased, or shared, with the lease produced on request.

No check has been relaxed. The scoring weights are unchanged, so an operator that cleared 4.0-equivalent evidence in 2026 will see no change in file weight.

What buyers should do

  1. 01

Listed operators should begin collecting third-source hour evidence now rather than at audit.

  2. 02

Where premises are shared, disclose it. Shared premises are not disqualifying; undisclosed premises are.

  3. 03

Buyers can ask any listed operator which revision their current file was assessed against — it is printed on every registry record.

If you have information relevant to this notice — documentation, a transaction record, or a contradicting account — send it to the registry team. Alerts are amended when evidence warrants it, and every amendment is dated.
